Tournament Information
- Check-In begins at 4:15 PM at Bobby Holcomb Field, located at Oxford Middle School
- Head Coaches / Referee Meeting at 4:30 PM in Oxford's Team Meeting Room
- All players must have a helmet and mouthpiece. Teams must wear matching color shirts
- Recommend bringing a second shirt in case another team is in the same color
- Pool play begins at 5:00 PM
- First possession in pool play is determined by Rock-Paper-Scissors
- Single Elimination Tournament will begin at 8:30 PM
- Seeding is determined by overall record, with total differential then total points scored serving as the tiebreaker
- Referee is responsible for keeping score and must report after each game to the scorer's table
- We will play through rain. In the event of lightning, teams report to their busses to wait for return to play
7v7 Game Rules
- 7 defenders and 6 offensive players (not including center)
- Each possession starts on the 40 yard line, going in
- 3 downs to make a first down; first downs made by crossing the 25 and 10 yard lines
- PAT snaps are from the 5 yard line for 1 point and the 10 yard line for 2 points, with offensive choice of hash
- 4.0 seconds to get the pass off. It will be a loss of down and treated as a sack if not thrown in time. The 4-second clock starts on the snap of the ball
- Note: Passes may be thrown behind the line of scrimmage, but the WR must advance beyond the L.O.S. or it will be treated as a sack
- Possession changes after a PAT attempt, failure to make a first down, or a turnover
- Games are 20:00 long. The clock runs continuously. No overtime in pool play
- There is a 5:00 minute break between games — coaches, have your players on the field ready to go to keep us on schedule
- Overtime in tournament play consists of alternating plays from the 5 yard line in a shoot-out format
- No timeouts to stop the clock
- All offensive formations must be legal sets
- 40 second play clock is in effect
- One-hand touch anywhere
- No running plays, double passes, or shovel passes allowed
- 1 coach may be in the offensive huddle, but no coaching during the play
- No additional offensive players can be on the field with the coach. Sub from the sideline
- No defensive coaches are permitted to be on the field

Penalties
- Offensive dead ball penalties: loss of down
- Offensive live ball penalties: 5 yards and loss of down
- Defensive dead ball penalties: 5 yards
- Defensive live ball penalties: 5 yards and automatic first down
- Blatant physical contact results in a 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. Two unsportsmanlike penalties results in ejection
